Inside the old Athenian portico of a 1930 building, after you take a left turn you encounter an old gun seller. One of the few remaining in Greece, were guns are only allowed for registered hunters. Next to it, this double height old shop, transformed as a small loft.

In this project I collaborated with one of my oldest friends, Teresa Papakostantinou. We decided to keep the old materials such as the old terrazzo floor, the wooden attic and the wooden stairs, the old windows. These were the parts that gave this unique character to the space. Other than that we incorporated kitchen and bathroom completely from scratch, trying to use the maximum of the minuscule place, 15 sqm ground floor and 10 in the attic, where the bed is.
