The blue apartment is my first solo work, and you can see from the pictures that I also photographed myself on the spot. This is the year 2017, and the commission was from a dear friend who had almost no money. I decided to only change the kitchen and bathrooms which was the necessary and bare minimum, and otherwise I changed only one wall: the blue one. I wanted to give this apartment a bold character, just like the owners. For it to have a backbone, so the central dividing wall became a statement. The impressive black marble floor was kept intact, and we decided with the owner to also use some very old and decorative style furnishing to contrast the minimal modern lines of the rest of the apartment.
